Ecogra Certified Online Bingo Halls

It’s reassuring to know that regulatory bodies such as eCOGRA are now starting to recognize online bingo halls and give them the credit they deserve after several years in the industry. Online bingo is a relatively recent addition to the online gaming industry, although, some online bingo halls have been around for a number of years.

News that both Platinum Play Bingo and All Bingo Club have both received their ‘Play it Safe’ eCOGRA seals of approval, is an indicator that online bingo is finally getting the recognition it deserves and is finally being taken seriously by the regulatory bodies within the online world.

The reasons behind online bingo halls not receiving eCOGRA seals of approval in recent times are not known, it may have something to do with Industry fat cats believing online Bingo would be just a fad. At least this distorted view has now been put to rest, so online bingo sites can receive the acknowledgment they clearly deserve.

All Bingo Club and Platinum play bingo sites are now proud bearers of the eCOGRA seal of approval. In time hopefully many more online bingo halls will follow suit, although the certifying process is a long and drawn out procedure.

The levels of competitiveness in today’s online bingo industry coupled with the 2005 Gambling Act legislation, have meant that strict laws have been put in place that all online bingo halls must abide by. Failure to comply with the strict regulations will not necessarily damage the bingo business, but it is illegal, and won’t go unpunished.

Although we applaud the decision to start awarding seals of approval to commendable online bingo sites by eCOGRA, it has been a well known fact that All Bingo Club and Platinum Play Bingo, plus many others within the industry, were already overqualified for the seals, but just hadn’t been awarded one due to unknown circumstances.
